Welcome aboard the USS Pioneer, the first production-run Insignia Class starship. Intended by Starfleet to supercede the aging fleet of Nebula and Galaxy class vessels as the Federation's primary means of research and exploration. Currently, Pioneer is one of only two vessels of the class, the other being the class prototype USS Insignia.
Under command of Captain Christian Sorrell, the Head of Starfleet Corps of Engineers, the Pioneer and her crew face continual challenges as she embraces her mission to explore new worlds, seek out new civilisations, and defend the United Federation of Planets from it's enemies, and sometimes even from itself!

New Database Online

Hi guys!
Just a quick note about an update to the website. A new, wiki-based database has been enabled on the system. At the moment it only contains a couple of pieces of information, but over the next few months will be expanded, eventually becoming a large gaming resource for all players.
To access the wiki, please click on the "Database" from the main menu of the website.

Hey guys,
Just a quick note to welcome our newest player!
Chris Wilson has joined the Pioneer as Ensign Skara Vrek, our new Flight Control Officer. Vrek will be joining the ship during it's current layover at Deep Space Nine, before the next mission starts.

Dear all,
Just a quick note to let you all know that the new version of the website is now online. While some areas still need to be brought over from the old site, and that should be complete by the end of the week. If anyone does need some of the missing bits in the interim, the old Pioneer website can still be accessed in it's entirity at www.oldsite.usspioneer.co.uk.
All the characters have also been brought over to the new site, if you haven't yet registered on the new site you'll notice that your character is listed as an "NPC" on the crew manifest. Could these players please e-mail me with their preferred usernames so I can get your user profile setup for you.
Finally, my apologies to everyone regarding my ever changing e-mail addresses over the last month or so. Kinda bit off more than I could chew by changing ISP's and the hosting for the website at the same time, which caused some issues with my e-mail accounts. These issues have now been resolved with more than a little help from Keaven (thanks mate!). If you need to contact me via e-mail, please use gamemaster@usspioneer.co.uk and delete any other addresses you may have, as these have now been deactivated.
